What Is Power Perspective in Human Design?
Power Perspective means your mind is wired to perceive authority, influence, and control dynamics. You automatically notice who has power, how it flows, and where it’s concentrated. This is a neutral perceptual ability — it can be used wisely or destructively.
Why It Matters
Understanding your Power Perspective helps you use this awareness constructively. When correct, you navigate social and professional environments with exceptional sophistication. When distorted, you may become controlling, manipulative, or excessively concerned with status and hierarchy.
How It Works
Your mind frames every situation through the question: where is the power? In correct expression, this produces astute social awareness, effective leadership, and the ability to work within systems skillfully. In distortion, it creates power struggles, manipulative behavior, or obsession with control.
How to Use It
Trust your ability to read power dynamics — it is genuinely useful. Let it inform your awareness without driving your behavior. Use Strategy and Authority for decisions, and let your power awareness serve as intelligence, not as a control mechanism.
