The G Center is the diamond-shaped hub at the center of the bodygraph. It is sometimes called the Self Center, Identity Center, or Ji Center. This center governs the deepest questions of human experience: Who am I? Where am I going? What does love mean to me? It houses the Magnetic Monopole — the mechanism that holds your design together and attracts your trajectory through life.

Function and Role
The G Center operates as the body's compass. It manages identity, direction, and the flow of love. It is not a motor center — it does not generate energy — but it determines the course of your life. The Magnetic Monopole within it holds your Design and Personality crystals together, giving you a unified sense of self and pulling you along your unique path, or geometry, through life.
Defined vs. Undefined
A defined G Center means you have a fixed sense of who you are. Your identity feels stable regardless of who you are with or where you are. You have an inner compass that gives you a reliable sense of direction — you may not always know the details, but you trust that you are on the right path. An undefined G Center means identity and direction are fluid. You experience different versions of yourself depending on your environment, and you may struggle with questions like "Who am I really?" or "Where is my life going?"
The Not-Self Theme
The not-self theme of the undefined G Center is searching for identity and direction in the wrong places. People with an open G may cling to relationships, jobs, or locations hoping they will provide a stable sense of self. The wisdom is understanding that your openness is a gift — you are designed to sample many identities and directions, gaining deep insight into the nature of selfhood.
Gates of the G Center
The G Center contains eight gates, each expressing a different facet of identity, love, or direction: Gate 1 (Self-Expression), Gate 13 (The Listener), Gate 25 (Universal Love), Gate 46 (Discovery), Gate 2 (The Direction of the Self), Gate 15 (Extremes), Gate 10 (Behavior of the Self), and Gate 7 (The Role of the Self). These gates connect to the Throat, Sacral, and Spleen Centers.
Living with Your G Center
If your G Center is defined, trust your inner sense of direction — it is reliably pulling you forward. If it is undefined, focus on being in the right environment and with the right people. The open G Center is profoundly influenced by place and community, so deliberately choosing supportive surroundings is essential for finding clarity about who you are and where life is taking you.
