What Is the 4/6 Profile in Human Design?

Line 4 is your conscious Opportunist — the part that creates and maintains personal networks. Line 6 is your unconscious Role Model — the part that lives through three phases of experimentation, observation, and embodied authority. Your influence reaches the world through people who know and trust you.

Why It Matters

Your profile reveals that your impact is relational and time-dependent. You don’t reach strangers — you transform your community. And your authority grows with age as you move through the three phases and accumulate genuine experience to share.

How It Works

In phase one, Line 4 is active — you build networks while experimenting with life. In phase two, you step back to observe and process while maintaining connections. In phase three, you re-engage as a Role Model within your network, trusted because your wisdom is both personal and proven.

How to Use It

Nurture your network across all three phases. In the early years, connect and experiment. During observation, stay connected but selective. In the Role Model phase, let your community be the channel through which your wisdom flows naturally.
