What Is Profile in Human Design?
Profile consists of two Lines derived from the positions of your Personality Sun and Design Sun. Each Line carries specific behavioral traits. The first number reflects your conscious personality — how you see yourself. The second number reflects your unconscious design — how others experience you. Together, they form your life's thematic costume.
Why It Matters
Your Profile explains recurring patterns in your life. Why you're drawn to research or experimentation, why people project certain qualities onto you, or why you feel pulled toward specific roles. Understanding your Profile helps you embrace your natural tendencies instead of fighting against them.
How It Works
There are six Lines (1 through 6), and Profiles are created by pairing two of them. Not all combinations exist — there are exactly twelve valid Profiles. Each pairing creates a unique dynamic between your conscious and unconscious traits, resulting in a distinct approach to life and learning.
How to Use It
Read about your specific Profile combination to identify the themes that resonate most strongly. Notice how the two Lines interact in your daily experience — one driving your conscious choices, the other showing up in how others treat you and what they expect from you.
